Directions:

Carperby Village Institute is in the centre of village about 70m east of the the Wheatsheaf Inn.

Carperby is situated on the unclassified road parallel to and north of the A684 - from the west turn left off the A684 at Bainbridge and follow the road through Askrigg and Woodhall - after approimately 2.5 miles you arrive at Carperby. From the east turn right off the A684 at Wensley (signposted Redmire) - drive for approximately 6 miles, through Redmire and you will arrive at Carperby. From the south leave the A684 at Aysgarth take the turning signposted to Aysgarth Falls and the National Park Centre. After approximately 1 mile turn right at the T junction to enter the village. Parking:

Very limited parking is available adjacent to Carperby Village Institute with an honesty box. If you are able to walk a little please leave spaces for less mobile guests.

There is ample roadside parking to the east of the institute - please be considerate. Don't block entrances or impair vibility for residents entering or leaving their properties.

Public Tranport is very limited.

Please enter using the door at the rear of the building which has ramp access suitable for wheelchairs. Assistance is available for visitors with disabilities.
